    Default Radiator Cover

My radiator cover was thrown out accidentally in a recent renovation. I'd like to replace it, as it matches the others in the house. It is steel, wraps around the radiator, and dates to about 1950 or 1960. The base is open and there are horizontal vents on the upper third of the front of it. Does anyone have a source for used radiator covers?

Most major cities have companies that specialize in recycling building products from old buildings that have been demolished or undergone updating. I know we had them in Chicago and here in Portland.

I do believe there are companies still building radiator covers for old style radiators. A Google search should find them. I have seen adds in the back of building magazines.
