Default Attach a porch between brick columns

This house once had a porch, but it had been removed by a previous owner.
The house is solid brick, with two brick columns supporting a gable where the porch used to be.
I want to build a new porch in this area; but am not sure of the best way to attach the porch joists, etc. to the front columns.
The columns are 22" x 31", sixteen feet apart, and six feet from the front wall of the house.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Howdy, You can isolate the columns by framing around them and extending the porch past the posts. or frame the porch to the inside of the columns or a few other variations... Are you asking how to fasten the framing to the column to bear the porch on them?

    Hi!
    Thanks for responding.
Yes, I'm trying to find the best way to attach the porch to the columns so that the columns will support the deck.

Hi again. You can install cement anchor screws and joist hangers and hang the porch this way. I am into overkill so i would use a double joist hanger and then a 4" by 6" by length you need pressure treated beam.
