    Default Replacing a Breaker

I have an electrical box in the barn with two breakers in it. Apparently one of the breakers isn't working because there is no power in that part of the barn. Is this something I can replace myself?
    Thanks,
    Bob

If you have never done a thing like this, call a pro.

But if you are handy, you have the right replacement breaker, carefully following instructions, you may be able to do it.

First check if there's power coming into the old breaker and power coming out, using a tester.

No power? turn off the main.

Remove the old breaker. Some breakers snap out with half a twist.

Unscrew the small screw holding the incoming colored wire.

Do the reverse to install the new breaker.
