    Default wood wainscoting installation

Installing wood tongue in groove wainscoting in my kitchen. Came to an electrical outlet and will have to address two more. How do I make a nice rectangular hole for the outlet and faceplate?

Jigsaw would be the tool of choice. You need to execute good measuring skills to get the hole in the right place. If the hole is in the center of a board, you will need a 3/8" drilled hole to start the cut.

if there is space to hold the peice directly next to the outlet you can actually mark and scribe the outlet in place
fire up the saw and make some dust
