Suggestion: maybe if you use RhinoShield or similar...
Consider this: Get a 1' x 1' or 2' x 2' peice of plywood. Tack on the [probably preprimed] siding used on your house originally, or as close to it as you can find. Have the RhinoShield crew paint that small piece as if it were part of the house.
When they are done, put it in the attic, and forget about it.
If you are concerned that the sides of your house might have faded, or in some other way has become blemished over time, you can prove it.
It'll probably help you sleep at night too, if you're like me.
