Default OSB as floor in workshop

Turning a space that was a "mancave" garage (with carpeting), into a woodworking shop. Thinking of putting 23/32" OSB OVER the carpeting, gluing the tongue and grooves. What do you think of that as a workshop floor?

Might also consider just laying (staples??) some CHEAP Vinyl Sheet flooring over, if the OSB alone a bad idea.

Thanks for you input, and if you are near Philly, drop by for a beer once I get it set up!

i would strongly reccommend taking up the carpet first before laying the osb, memory foam would be even better its durable and makes it easier onthe back to stand in one spot for periods of time
fire up the saw and make some dust
