    Default Refinishing Marble Countertop

We installed marble tiles for our countertop. What a mistake. It shows numerous stains and we want to refinish it. Some are water spots, olive oil spots, etc. What is the best way to fix this problem?

stains can soak into some natural stones so a poultice needs to be used. for more information go to the marble institue of america

The MIA will be a great resource, but if the stains are deep, such as the oil, you are looking at replacement.

Can I interest you in a nice granite?

I think the same way - replacement for sure. Some stains are practically impossible to remove.
