    Default Painting formica counter tops

A home improvement show they indicated I could paint my formica kitchen countertop by first sanding and using an epoxy paint. However, I can't find epoxy paint anywhere and what grade sandpaper should I first use?

Can anyone out there help me?

    Thanks. MrsP

Any paint store or hardware that caries Rustoleum should be able to get either of these two products

They may not stock it but should be able to order it for you. You might want to watch the video for how it is applied and the preparations needed. Hope this helps.

i agree with jack, your either trying to wrong store or you just need to custom order it

as for sanding, you only need 60 or 80 grit, the reason is to simply scuff up the surface to create a small amount of texture for which the paint can hold, your not trying to smooth it off or anything
fire up the saw and make some dust
