    Default Cleaning Lincrusta

Fine article on installing (already knew how). But, how do you clean ORIGINAL Lincrusta?

    Default Re: Cleaning Lincrusta

Lincrusta is a kissin' cousin to Linoleum. Both were derived from linseed. If it is natural, I would treat it as if it were linoleum, washing with a mild wall washing solution. Often Lincrusta was hung at the job site and then finished with oil paint and/or other glaze type finishes to highlight the embossed designs and textures. In this case, it would be treated as washing a wall.
