    It's good to know the Greek terms for these. Now, if I mention these names to a customer, he'll think that I know what I'm talking about...

    Do they have names in English?

    it's always nice to know the Greek term. Of course, we're all more familiar with the GEEK term of "that thingy that is under the do-dad that supports the chinga-madero", which of course, translates to plinth block.
    I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!

    I forgot to mention you can get the plinths in trouble-free aluminum castings, they of course never rot and more importantly they don't make a wood/wood sandwich where the damp is prone to linger.
