    Question Want to remove glue

I have taken up old outdoor carpet off the cement patio floor.
How can I remove all the residual glue ? ,
There is gray paint underneath the glue too.
I want to clean this all off and repaint .
Do I have to prepare the cement before I re-paint ?

sc**** it first, if that doesnt work use goo gone or a product of the same type. from there i would wash down the floor with tsp to get rid of any grit and grime so the new paint will grab, a coat of primer wont hurt either before the paint
fire up the saw and make some dust

If it was mine I would acid and power wash the concrete before painting.

Read the directions on the muratic acid and take extreme caution.

Your prep work is important for a lasting paint job.
Clean the concrete thoroughly, as previously suggested, for best result.
