Default Looking for a fence post doweling drill jig

I have to replace about 250 feet of 8 foot fence and I need to to make the rails out of 2.5" to 3" stock with doweled ends to fit into 2" holes in the posts. I need a tool that would taper and dowel the square or rectangular rails so they neatly fit into the posts. Does anyone know who makes such a tool (I believe it may be a bit that fits on a large drill)? Much appreciated!

They're out there, but very expensive. They're called a timber tenon cutter

Go to YouTube and search for "tenon cutter" and look at the top 4 or 6 vids for some ideas.

Thumbs up Re: Looking for a fence post doweling drill jig

Thanks for the quick reply. I was quoted $13,000 for the fence so at $300, this tool isn't that expensive for doing it myself.
