    Default fixing glass shower door

    I have a 40yr old shower door that pivots on a plastic grommet in a u-shaped piece that is attached to the wall frame this u-shaped piece is broken can I find a replacement?

    40 yr old shower door...
    Sometimes it is easier to replace entire shower door but first try local Mom and Pop Hardware Stores than big stores.
    Check your yellow page for Hardware Stores.

    I always got better luck with smaller Mom and Pop Hardware Stores than big stores.

    Look for a shower door manufacturer in your area. It is possible that it's a common item or that something common could be adapted to the purpose. Aside from that, you might try to find a machine shop who could make you a replacement at a reasonable price.
    I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!
