Shopping for new A/C and heat pump....
My outdoor Goodman air conditioning and gas furnace finally took a crap. I have crack heat exchanger. It is expensive and not worth to fix.
I’ve been shopping around for new outdoor A/C and heat pump unit. I’ve been deciding to get one without gas, I think it is more efficiency and cost saving.
What do you all think?
I’ve been searching couple name brands on internet; most of them do have pros and cons. I want your real world experiences on air conditioning / heat pump unit. I do not want you to tell me what you “think”, I want you to tell me what you know.
FYI…..I live in North Carolina, lowest temp in winter is 27 degrees [rarely…average temp is more like 39 degrees] and highest temp is 105 degrees.
The house is 1 floor cottage…1350 sq ft.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the Duct Tape.
