    Default Raining laminated beam

I have a 25' stained laminated wood beam in my living room and every year after the weather warms up, the beam collects moisture and it literally rains down to the floor below. It is at the top of a vaulted ceiling, and the highest point in the room. There is no second story above the beam, just a shingled roof. Do I need to prime and re stain the beam? It doesn't seem possible to put in any type of ventilation vents.

    Please help!

Is there a ridge vent on the roof that may be allowing snow or ice to build up under the vent. You need to figure out whats going on before you have bigger problems......
