Default Kitchen track lights on exposed rafters

I'm redoing my kitchen and have finished my rafters! Know I want lights on the lines of track lights. However I do not want the track, just want "spot lights" that I can screw or fasten the the rafters.

You can get bases that mount on a junction box or plug in which accept a single track lighting fixture, no track needed. You can use any of the thousands of different track light styles with them. The great thing about these is they let you change the fixture on a whim, just like track lighting. Some brands call these "monopoint track adapters."

Cool Re: Kitchen track lights on exposed rafters

Remember the fixtures you decide should be mounted to an electrical box that will contain the electrical wires.
