Default Best Flooring for Water Prone Basement?

So we had to rip out the carpet in our basement last April when it got a little wet from those terrible rain storms! We live in the Plymouth, MA area. We since had the basement sealed off, but I do not want to put another carpet in the basement just in case water comes in again. What do you think is the best flooring for a water prone basement? We are thinking about having a vinyl sheet installed.

Vinyl Sheet Goods is the last thing I would put in a basement especially if you have a chance of getting water......

To be honest nothing should be down if it's prone to have water.
However , if you feel the water issue is resolved then carpet is actually better since it's very simple to remove if ever there is another issue with water.
