I have a one-story 1935 bungalow style house with an attached carport. The brick and mortar base of the two wood columns that support the far side of the carport have eroded and I need to somehow strengthen them... without jacking up the whole thing. These are square bases and I would think that maybe some cement, bricks, mortar and a mold could do the trick. But I am a mere amateur who just doesn't know for sure. Could this be a project of interest for viewers/readers of these old houses?
