    Default plaster

How long does plaster have to dry before painting, BEHR paint says to wait 30 days, is this true?, I don't have 30 days.

    Thanks again

30 days is the ideal, i don't know of too many people that wait that long.....alot of it has to do with how quickly the plaster is drying. when it's wet, it sort of has a deep gray color to it and you can see the variations in color over the first 2-3 days. when it's all a solid white, wait another day or two and you can prime and paint. i'd say on average that you can paint 3-5 days after the plasterers are done unless you live in a very humid enviroment.
