    Default Basement Wall Sealer

I just painted my basement walls with latex UGL water sealer. While the latex has far less odor than the oil-based, it still kinda smells. Any tip for quick ways to get rid of the smell? I already have box fans blowing and windows open. I've read other places that said an onion cut in half soaks up paint fumes...haven't tried that yet. Thanks!

It must be a really big onion? or is it a stinky little one? How about a whole case of glade... but i would prefer the paint haha sorry for a little humor.

I thought the same thing about the onion. That's why I haven't tried that yet.

Yeah, if the fans are sitting in the window blowing out, with fresh air coming in from somewhere...it's the fastest.

Also try 3 or 4 boxes of the Arm & Hammer Baking-Soda. Use some shallow plastic or cardboard trays, sprinkle a box in each tray, & place them in the room for a day or so.

There is no "immediate" method though!
