    Cool Ceiling Fan ...

    Here's one that has me puzzled. I turn on my bathroom fan and nothing happens, i check the power to the fan...good I check the outlet in the fan...good I pull the fan motor out and plug it in a wall outlet and it's good. what could it be????

    Can you check the voltage with the fan plugged into it's own outlet AND turned on ? Could possibly have a broken wire with just one strand connected . Just enough to show a voltage , but not carry current . Is the fan blade binding on anything ?

    I did not check voltage but I did buy a new fan wired it all correctly and it does not work either

    there is no light, just the fan
