    Default Concrete water fountain.

This is an outside water fountain, the wife wants to change the color. What do I use? Stain or paint???
Been trying to search for different stains, having little luck. I called one company that sells stains, he said he would recommend pool coating.
Dont know...any advice would be much appreciated.

Can paint use a primer that bonds to masonary and paint away. Could always acid stain ... its made to color concrete in a variety of colors. I used snow coat on my moms and it has held up for years. Snow coat is a roofing white sealer that is elastomeric- it streachtes to tolerate temp changes.

Pool Paint is best, that way you dont harm wildlife and it holds up well and many times can be also tinted at some paint stores.
