    Default Crown moulding Installation...

    I've got a friend of the family that Insist on hireing me to put up some crown moulding in her living room, I don't ever charge family and friends for stuff, but she Insist...So what would be a fair way to charge, and how much.Buy the job,hour,Or material and labor.

    When asked for payment in such a situation, I tell the "client" to pay me back by going out of their way to do something nice for someone else.

    An alternative would be to ask them to make a charitable donation in lieu of payment.

    OR you can gladly accept the money then donate it on your own in their name, sending them the thank you note from the charity.

    when i do crown for a client i charge by the foot, the rate will vary based on the size of the profile, if its paint grade or stain grade, along with if they are living in the house and there is furniture that will need to be moved or not

    in your situation where you dont really want to charge them, steak dinner is always good
    fire up the saw and make some dust
