    Default airy water lines

My domestic well water system has a lot of air in the lines, any suggestions?

Your well may be low and the pump is sucking air part of the time. You may be able to lower the pump if it was installed well above the bottom of the well.

thanks for the reply, but the well is drilled and it's a long way down... guess i gotta spend some money to find out for sure, either that, or pray for rain.

I have the same problem at my cabin. The air "explodes" often so violently that it scares people 10 feet away from the spouting faucet. I installed a new shallow well pump and have the correct air pressure in the tank. Water shortage is not a problem in this area so I am out of ideas what causes the violent air spouting. Help!
