    Default Pressure spraying brick work

I really want to clean up the brick work at the front of the house I've bought. Was thinking us using a pressure washer / spray, but am concerned that it will blast away the cement and therefore potentially cause problems with the structure.

Has anyone tried this before? Are there alternatives to my approach?

    Thanks

You can pressure wash brick. You don't have to run the pressure washer at full tilt. Start at a lower engine speed and increase until you find the point you are doing damage, then back off. A rotary spray head will get you a more even finish. I pressure wash my house a few times a year, and there are sections with vinyl siding and sections with Hardie. Differing pressures and hold the tip a little closer or further away.
