    Default Re-installing parlor pocket doors

I am helping my daughter restore a 1903 four square farm house. Many years ago the pocket doors were removed from the parlor and stored in an out building. They are in beautiful condition and we wish to re-install them. We were able to find that the track and rollers are still in the wall but it appears that we are missing some attaching hardware. We have attempted to identify the design and manufacturer of the mechanism without success.

I am attaching some pictures of the tops of the doors in hopes that someone may identify the hanger so we can try to find a diagram to go by to build the missing pieces.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

I did this in my house.

You need to post three times before you can attach pictures. Please try again, but basically, you can buy a whole new track or improvise a way to attach the trolleys to the doors.

It will probably be necessary to remove the trim around the track.

There are some manufacturers like Johnston who make excellent quality hardware for heavier doors. Don't use the basic stuff from Home Burrito, as your door will probably weigh far too much.
