Default Pressure Washer Marks on Siding

We just bought our first home and there are 'zoro' marks on some of the serrated cedar siding from the previous owner pressure washing with the wrong tip way to close to the siding. Can I just sand down the marks? or should I just replace them?

    Thanks.

correct, hit the bad spots with a sander to feather it out and touch up the paint if the cedar is painted, if its natural the wood will be a different shade because of exposing fresh wood however
fire up the saw and make some dust
