Default ornamental cast iron stove pipe hole inserts

Hello, could anyone tell me where I could find the old inserts or reproduction ones, that were put in the stove pipe hole when the wood stove and pipe were removed for the summer or permanently. I saw them in old farm houses and they were an open weave much like a trivet, and fit into the hole to allow air to rise from room to room.....from what I recall they inserted from the room on the second floor, and were large enough that the bottom of it showed on the ceiling of the main floor and the top that was resting on the second floor was a bit larger to prevent it from falling through, so no hardware was involved....
    Thanks in advance!
