Default siding on inside of walls

I am trying to remodel my home that was built in 1890. When I was removing the plaster board on my dining room walls, it looks like there is siding on the inside. I want to remove atleast half of the wall to put a bar between the kitchen and dining room. Am I going to be able to do this or is it one of the main walls to where I can't ???

    Thank Ya for your help,
    Lori

I agree with jkirk, in fact I have the same situation in my house. Because it was an exterior wall it is no doubt a bearing wall and would require caution in removing and the installation of a bearing support beam.
