When we poured our concrete slab, we left a void in the slab for the shower. The void, at the edges of the shower pan, sits
1 1/2" below the finished floor, and slopes to 2 1/4" at the drain. The original plan was to finish this with concrete, since we also installed in-slab hydronic heat, but now no one is willing to finish this with concrete because of cracking issues. This shower is intended to be wheelchair accessible. I've learned of epoxy grout -- could epoxy grout be used to finish this floor with the proper slope? Help!
