    Default flooring underlayment

what is the best underlayment for noise reduction over a concrete floor in a condo? They prefer a product called Proflex 90, but it is very expensive and difficult to use. I want to install engineered hardwood or laminate.

The best thing to use is what the flooring manufacturer recommends.

what do you need sound reduction for, its it for cutting down noise within your unit or floor to floor? only reason i ask is because we do concrete overpour floors on smaller commercial spaces specifically to help with sound
