    Unhappy varathane odor

I built countertop pie safes for Christmas gifts this year. How can I eliminate the varathane odor from the insides of the safes?
They,ve cured over 30 days and still smell. Does anyone have any suggestions????

Try putting small cups with Vinegar in them inside. That will help suck up the odor and hopefully take away the smell.

That, and also make sure it's properly ventilated as well

The urethane odor will eventualy disapper. If you really are in a hurry to get rid of the smell, top coat the urethane with clear shellac. There is no coating better at sealing in odors than shellac. It will adhere to the urethane and dries very rapidly. It dries to a semi-gloss sheen.
