In a recent program norm and kevin were covering a large laminated beam with hardwood trim – they were explaining about the long “groove” (a slot cut with the grain to accept another piece of wood) - they both defined the “groove” as a “dado” (a slot cut across the grain to accept another piece of wood) - these are supposed to be the experts in their fields and the average viewer relies on their knowledge –
