Radiant heat - assist with cooling in summer
Questions regarding radiant heat:
1) In milder climates like coastal pacific northwest will the radiant heat system (inslab groundfloor and lightweight concrete second floor) assist with cooling in the summer if non heated or possibly cooled water is circulated through the system?
2) How would the comfort be? (floors feel cold or damp)
Re: Radiant heat - assist with cooling in summer
I've heard of this being done, mostly in commercial applications, using specialized radiant equipment, and in areas where there is low humidity to begin with.
It's much less common in residential applications.
