    Default Motion Detector light

Have a dual light motion detector over garage and noticed that one of the lights not working so replaced the bulb - nothing - so went and bought another new bulb - put in - still nothing - has been working fine for last year or so - wearing surgical gloves when putting the bulbs in to make sure not touching bulb with bare skin any reason one side works but not other?
    Thanks Don

Probably a loose or damaged wire, as both sockets should be wired together. Turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker, remove the fixture from the wall, and double-check all of the connections and inspect the wires for damage.

Also may be a faulty socket.
