    Default cold air coming in

    I recently in June had my house sided and new isulation, but cold air is coming in thru the electric outlets . why is this ? What can I do ? THANKS Roz

    You may have an older home with no top plates on the walls. This allows cold air in the attic to settle down through the stud cavities to the receptacle boxes. Are your walls insulated?
    There are several kits to put a gasket under the receptacle plates to reduce this infiltration. At most hardware stores and on the web.
