    Default Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, may you be blessed with a joyous holiday and bountiful morsels of delight.

We do pretty much the standard fair, though we're trying something new by putting the turkey on a gas grill rotisserie. Anyone else do this? Got any advice on how to add smoke chips?

My grill has a rotisserie burner on the back wall, which means that the heat is directly on the bird and the rest of the grill is relatively cold. I'm thinking of using one of the lower burners (there are 4 ) on low and placing the smoke slabs there.

Helpful advice or not, Happy Holiday everyone!

    Apparently.

You've got about 4 hours to get here or you're getting cold leftovers.
You're always welcome at my house, my friend.

LOL ---- it'll take me that long to dig out from the 18+ inches of snow we've got here.

Same here my friend, though I'm kinda thinking it's not quite as appealing for you.

Yeah, I'm a warm weather kind of guy. I have to say, though, it's been down right nippy around here the past few days. Mid 50's by day, dropping into the upper 20's at night. Today is almost tshirt weather if you're working, but then who's working on Turkeyday?

If only --- today the temps aren't too bad --- yet.
    10 F for the high and only down to -5 ( 5 below ) F at night.

Naw -- that's not cold ---- I'm thankful ( noticed how I slipped that in ? ) it's only those temps, considering what's about come. Some time in the very near future the temps wil be getting to 40 below --- now that's cold

Hey now it's not us that can't get their holidays straight --- the rest of the world isn't on holidays.

You silly guys only juxtaposed your holidays against ours so you could get more days off! Very sneaky!
