Default How do I paint on blacktop/asphalt?

I would like to paint an asphalt curb white, an area of about 20 sf. Can I buy paint that is suitable for this at a store such as Home Depot or Lowe's? If not, what kind of supplier should I go to? I only want to buy enough for the job, with a little left over.
Also, I would rather put this paint on with a brush. Can I do this, or must I spray it on?
    I'm in central Massachusetts.

    Greetings BHM47

This is Mike with The Home Depot in Chicago and I may have the paint you are looking for!! You will want to check out Rust-Oleum White Marking Paint. It comes in a spray can form. Ideal for multiple areas not just asphalt. It a quick drying paint so you wont have to wait forever to have it completely dries. Rust-Oleum also has it in a gallon as well. The gallon is called traffic striping paint. The traffic striping paint will last longer then the spray marking can and handle long term weathering. Either one should work great on asphalt.

If you have any questions feel free to let me know.
