    Default insulation

I roof was leaking 2 drops at a time during rain. Now I ve made a hole in ceiling and find that insulation is wet. Must I replace this insulation or can I just let it dry out. Is there a chance it can become mold infected.

Really depends hot wet is wet.
If it's soaked --- then it's probably best to remove and replace.
Otherwise, and depending on the type of insulation -- for batts if they are not saturated you might get away by turning them over facing the vented side of the attic. As long as air circulates they may dry out.
