Default Where to buy 8' oak stakes for deer netting?

I just watched a show last night. Sadly, I deleted it and can't find any mention of it on the site.

Roger installed 6' deer netting around some small trees. I have the netting. I cannot find the 8' oak stakes anywhere. I've spent over an hour looking ****** and calling around.

Does anyone know where I can get these, preferrably in the Boston area?

    Thank you.

Use something besides oak. If it must be oak, make your own by buying some lumber and cutting the size stakes you need.

I called a number of places with no luck.

Home Depot's web site has no mention of oak stakes.

In the store, however, are several sizes of oak stakes. Their web site it just terrible. But don't get me going on that...

I found 2x2 pt in 8' lengths for less than $3 ea.

I made tips with the table saw. Since I didn't wait until the ground is frozen like I usually do, I was easily able to drive them two ft in.

    Thank you.
