    Default check ball added to well pump

    please advise on best placement of an added checkball to my well pump and simple how to I was told this will overide failing checkball and that adding instead of going after old much simpler thanks for all and any advice as now i starting to loose pressure and am pretty sure is extra cost on electric bill and obviously hard on all of system!

    A check valve is generally placed just below the pitless adapter but it can be installed anywhere between the well and the bladder tank.

    If the old one is above the pitless adapter, then just replace the old one. If you are not familiar with wells and plumbing, then get a well driller to fix it, in the long run it will be worth the money.
