    Default Short tub drain

I have replaced my sheet metal tub with a fiberglass and replaced the linoleum floor covering with tile. The tub drain is sunk in the concrete slab and can not be easily removed. The problem I have now is the drain is too short to reach through the tub to the floor. Is there an adapter made to screw into the floor drain or a longer insert?

I solved this. I bought a new drain kit from Lowes. It had the floor drain, overflow tube and a new brass screw in drain.
I cut the flange off the old threaded drain and made a 5/8 inch nipple. Then cut off the bottom of the new floor drain. I threaded the two together and made a riser. It took a few tries and some trimming with a belt sander to get the lengths right but the job is now done. I put a bead of silicone all around the joint. Maybe someone else will have a similiar problem.
