    Default Grout too dark

I tiled my kitchen countertops and backsplashes. The countertop tile is great because it is porcelain - so no discoloration from the grout (I used brown). The backsplash is tumbled marble and it is darkened from the grout. Is there any product I can use to lighten up the tile? I am afraid to try anything for fear of ruining the marble. I should mention that I put three coats of sealer on the tile before I grouted.

Sealing the natural stone before installation is the way to avoid that. I don't think there is a product out there that can lighten the stone(which was probably stained by the colorant) or lighten the grout. You could call a tile supply store and see if they carry any product like that but I doubt it.

I did seal - three coats. Heaven knows how dark that tile might have gotten without the sealer. Thanks for the input.
