On Episode 2811 of the Weston House, I think they mentioned a "Citrus-based Finish" used on the Douglas Fir Beams. I just remodelled a house in No. GA. I used Cypress tongue and groove boards on the vaulted ceilings and hung salvaged heart pine floor boards on the walls. I planed the heart pine and lightly stained the cypress. I'd like to protect the wood with a finish that adds very little finish appearance to the wood. I thought the "citrus-based finish" might be an option. Is anyone familiar with this product, or do you have any recommendations for a finish, realizing I have a very large surface to do?
