Default bamboo on a Concrete Slab

I have grown tired of my old laminate flooring and want to install either engineered wood or hardwood flooring. My problem is that my house is on a concrete slab. What type of subfloor / undelayment should I install to safeguard against the constant expand and contract of the concrete?

A floating floor will not be affected by slab movement, as long as there's no heaving. If the movement is moisture related, it's most important to remediate the moisture problem first.

Moisture is your biggest concern with the concrete. There are number of methods of attaching. Check with your local flooring supplier when you purchase your flooring.
