Default Please help, antique porch columns

I'am remodeling my front porch from wood to brick and replacing the 6 porch columns that are currently there. The house was built in 1835 so I'm guessing the columns are antiques. They are nice they measure 13" in diameter with no taper.
My instincts won't let my just throw them out. My question is can I sell them? if so to whom? This could be a stupid question, please help im clueless as to what to do.

    Thanks

P.S I tried inserting a picture but didnt know how.

Selling old building materials could be difficult, because you have to find the right person who will need and like them.
You could advertise locally and wait for the buyer. Could be a treasure for somebody.
If it was me, I would dispose of them.

Is there an architectural salvage store near you? They might be interested. Or try Craigslist. Depending on the condition of the columns, someone might just be interested.
