    Default Insulation between floors

I live in a 4 BR center hall colonial in New Jersey. My husband is replacing the half inch subfloors with three quarter inch on the second floor of our house starting with the bedrooms. He is also putting insulation down before installing the new subflooring. My question is will this cause a problem with our heating and cooling? We use forced hot air. I'm wondering if the added insulation will cause the second floor to be colder in the winter and warmer in the summer? Please explain. Thanks.

Shouldn't be an issue regarding the temperature .... it will help with the noise.

    Hope this helps.
