    Exclamation Basement Help: Dirt walls and floor

    any idea on the best way to seal a dirt basement. Nothings level nothings even . Was given the family home built by great grandfather. Needs some work.

    Have you considered a concrete floor and concrete block walls. Probably the most solid way to go (no pun intended)without future problems.

    Howdy, do you use the basement? If not the $$$ spent gets more sealed. The easist is to put down 6 mil plastic but it will not hold up to foot traffic. A cement slab could be installed. Could have spray foam applied to dirt basement.
