Cork floor for kitchen remodel
We want to put in a click together cork floor in our kitchen and have gotten different answers to our installation questions.
Does anyone have experience with cork flooring in their kitchen?
Is it durable enough for a kitchen?
I've been told not to install it under the island but what about the refrigerator and dishwasher?
What finish wears better(acrylic or polyurethane)?
Should you go over the floor again with polyurethane to make the floor water tight?
Re: Cork floor for kitchen remodel
cork flooring is remarkably resilient, smooth to the feet, warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The investment for cork flooring is equal to or less than most wood floors. Installation costs are typically less.
