    Default Replace radiator covers

The radiator covers on our basement hydronic heating system are very rusty. Where can we get replacements (preferably in northern Minnesota)?

Also, we have a leak in the copper tubing under the concrete floor. Can we just run pex through the system to cure this?

    Thanks!

You can check with a local heating contractor for a supplier in your area, or you could remove the covers, clean them up, and spray them with an epoxy primer and epoxy paint you can get at your locale Borge or hardware store. The epoxy will hold up much better than installing new.

Running PEX through the old line may work but you will significantly reduce the size of the line.
